Fried to order, not to a timer.
Chicken goes in the fryer when the ticket lands, which is why it arrives loud: the crust still crackling, the steam still coming off it. Tenders, wings, bone-in, sandos, and the chicken and waffles that most people come back for. Nothing sits under a heat lamp waiting to be somebody's dinner.
Loaded means actually loaded.
The Loaded Chicken and Fries and the Loaded Mac and Cheese: fries or mac underneath, fried chicken on top, sauce over everything. For a table there are the Family Meals: wings, BBQ, shawarma and the Grande Fiesta, sized for four and up.

The Fryer House is at 6617 N Nebraska Ave in Tampa, close to Seminole Heights, the University area and Temple Terrace. Grill Zone, Wings Zone, Wraps Zone and the kitchen runs late into the night on weekends.

What should I get on a first visit?
The Chicken and Waffles is the signature and the one most people come back for. If you want something loaded, the Loaded Chicken and Fries and the Loaded Mac and Cheese put fried chicken over fries or mac with sauce over everything.
What are the Zones on the menu?
The menu is split by how the food is cooked rather than by course: Fried Chicken Zone, Wings Zone, Grill Zone, Bone in Chicken Zone, Wraps Zone and Kids Zone, plus Crazy Deals Zone. Family Meals Zone holds the large formats.
Do you have anything for a group?
Yes. The Family Meals Zone is built for it: Family Fiesta 1 and 2, Wings Family, BBQ Family, Shawrma Family and the Grande Family Fiesta, from $40 to $65.
Is there anything without meat?
The BOGO Veggie Deal is meat-free, and the sides include falafel, cauliflower nuggets, French fries, mac and cheese, okra and coleslaw, so a meat-free plate is straightforward to put together.
How spicy is the Peri Peri?
Peri Peri is a chilli marinade, so it carries real heat rather than just flavour, and it comes as both a whole grilled chicken and the Peri Sando. Pick your heat with the Spice level option when you order, from Nada and Mild up.
